He has worked with Australian jazz greats \u2013 John Sangster, Don Burrows, Brian Brown and supported US jazz greats, Nat Adderley, Dizzy Gillespie, Phil Woods and Milt Jackson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Steve, following in his father\u2019s footsteps, has featured at all major clubs and festivals around the country over the last four decades, having forged his own reputation as one of the country\u2019s most respected and in-demand jazz pianists, alongside being director and curator of iconic Melbourne jazz club Dizzy\u2019s in the early 2000s.&nbsp; Our piano which resides in our living room, was the resident piano at the iconic Dizzy&#8217;s jazz club where it was played by many well known national and international musicians.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignleft size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"251\" height=\"201\" src=\"https:\/\/somersongs.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/Ashley-Gaudion.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-224\" style=\"width:290px;height:auto\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns are-vertically-aligned-top is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-top is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:100%\">\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><strong>Ashley Gaudion<\/strong>&nbsp;has been surrounded by local and international jazz and blues artists all his life. He honed his musical talents from a very young age, and is now well-established as one of Australia&#8217;s predominant jazz and blues vocalists and saxophonists.
